FACADE SHOP DRAWING & DETAILING SERVICE
A façade, commonly referred to as a curtain wall, typically constitutes one exterior side of a building, usually the front, originating from the French word “façade” denoting “frontage” or “face.” In architecture, the façade often holds paramount importance as it establishes the design tone for the entire structure, usually featuring doors or windows. Some employ facade systems, constructed segments affixed to a building’s external face like a skin.
A fundamental element of the building envelope, the curtain wall, is defined as a non-load-bearing exterior skin that does not contribute stiffness to the building structure. Key requisites of a curtain wall include maintaining air and water integrity in the cladding system, offering adequate wind, thermal, and seismic response, and providing light transmission to interior spaces. The constitution of a curtain wall is crucial, typically a blend of various system types to express architectural intent and aesthetically define the building profile. These systems may include all-glazed facades (such as aluminium-framed systems, point-supported systems, cable net systems), opaque facades (such as precast, natural stone, and/or metal panels), or a combination of schemes depending on the building’s purpose.
The design of a curtain wall is integral to architectural expression, often combining various systems to achieve both functional and aesthetic goals. These systems may include:
- All-glass facades: Such as aluminum-framed systems, point-supported systems, or cable net systems
- Opaque facades: Made from materials like precast concrete, natural stone, or metal panels.
- Hybrid systems: Combining transparent and opaque elements tailored to the building's purpose and design intent.

What we do
Our focus is on producing superior 2D façade shop drawings that enhance architectural designs. DESPLA provide Façade 2D Drafting & Detailing & Fabrication drawing with high quality precision of below submittals.
Shop Drawings
We deliver high-quality assembly, production, and installation drawings for construction, renovation, and upgrade projects.
Our curtain wall shop drawing services include comprehensive floor and key plans, elevations, detailed sections, and fabrication drawings for glass, aluminium panels, anchors, and extensions. By collaborating closely with architects and engineers, our designs seamlessly balance aesthetics, functionality, and performance standards.
Our shop drawings provide precise, detailed visualizations of every curtain wall system component, including dimensions, materials, and assembly methods. This ensures clarity and accuracy throughout fabrication and installation, streamlining communication between architects, engineers, and contractors for efficient and successful project execution.
Unitized Curtain wall
A unitized curtain wall system is a prefabricated external building façade composed of large, factory-assembled units designed for seamless installation on-site.
Curtain wall embed anchors
Embed anchors are specialized components used in curtain wall systems, cast into concrete during the pouring process. While they are securely embedded in place, they do not directly connect to the glazing system members. Instead, various system clips can be attached to them using mechanical fasteners or welding methods, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in the curtain wall assembly.
Stick Curtain wall
In this type of curtain wall system, components are assembled piece by piece directly onto the building’s structure. It is primarily used for low-rise buildings or smaller sections of larger structures, as exterior access is typically required to install the system at higher elevations.
Storefront
A storefront is the front-facing exterior of a store or the entrance to a commercial building, typically located on the ground floor. It often features large display windows designed to showcase merchandise and draw attention to the business, creating an inviting and visually appealing first impression.
Facade Detailing
Facade detailing involves the meticulous design and specification of a building’s exterior, focusing on elements that influence both its aesthetics and performance. This process includes planning connections, joints, and interfaces within the façade system to ensure proper assembly, weatherproofing, and durability. Effective façade detailing plays a crucial role in enhancing the building’s longevity, energy efficiency, and overall functionality.
ACP Cladding
With our extensive experience and expertise, we deliver precise ACP fabrication and installation drawings tailored for a wide range of projects, including offices, factories, shopping malls, high-rise buildings, hospitals, and more.
Spider Glazing
Our team of experts specializes in delivering high-quality detailing services for spider glazing, ensuring seamless integration with your design. We provide precise and accurate detailing for every component, including material selection and measurements, to achieve optimal performance and aesthetics.
Spider glazing is a key element of frameless glass systems, known for its sleek, modern appearance and ability to provide uninterrupted views. This versatile and contemporary design solution allows for the creation of expansive glass surfaces, frameless entrances, and elegant canopies, enhancing both functionality and visual appeal.
Fabrication Drawings
We deliver precise fabrication drawings detailing materials, dimensions, and manufacturing methods to guarantee each component aligns with design specifications and integrates seamlessly into the system. Our commitment lies in producing efficient and error-free fabrication drawings, ultimately enhancing the quality and performance of the curtain wall system.
Material Take-off (MTO)
Our in-house team provides accurate material take-offs for curtain wall projects by ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the necessary quantities and specifications. This ensures efficient procurement and cost management, preventing shortages and overages, and keeping the project on budget and schedule.
Facade Estimation – Bid Job
Our team is well-versed in all bidding requirements and delivers accurate Bid packages. We provide bid package completion services for both subcontractors and general contractors.
